1031 Exchanges Explained
I have received numerous questions from our community concerning the 1031 Exchange and why it’s a beneficial tool for the real estate investor from a tax management perspective.
In short, the 1031 Exchange provides the investor the ability to swap one investment property for another which allows any capital gains taxes to be deferred or postponed by investing that gain in another real estate asset.
