Paul Grant – Founder

Paul Grant is an accomplished IT professional with over 35 years of dynamic and progressive information technology leadership and business experiences. He has held the full range of global IT leadership positions in IT Business Systems development, IT Infrastructure Management, overall IT organization leadership, strategy development, resource planning/allocation and project execution as a Chief Information Officer.

Paul is currently the Managing Partner of GYAO Management. GYAO has two business areas: Information Technology Consulting Services and Micro Business Investments. In the Information Technology consulting line of business, GYAO helps mid-market companies develop and implement Digital strategies that empower desired business outcomes. In the Micro Business Investments area, GYAO invests in early-stage startup companies and provides mentoring and counseling to the organizations invested in. Most recently, Paul has added Residential and Commercial Real Estate Investing in his portfolio of investments where is both passively and actively investing.

Aaron Hultgren – Real Estate Developer

Aaron has been involved in the real estate industry since 2001, purchasing his first investment property at the age of 20 in Brookings, South Dakota. He understands all facets of the real estate industry, from construction, development, operations and finance. Aaron has been actively involved with a variety of different operating entities which have allowed him to employ his experience and knowledge in construction, restaurant/bar, business consulting and real estate sales and development.

Aaron has sourced nearly $130mm in acquisition and development funding and helped grow his development business to a staff of 15 full-time employees.  He has an extensive knowledge in the various tax credit programs available across the country.  In 2016, he assisted in the creation of a separate wholly-owned property management firm under “LPM Properties, LLC”.  Since that time LPM has grown to manage nearly one million square feet of commercial space and approximately 350 multi-family units.

Joshua Novak – Marketing

Joshua is an accomplished marketer and brand development professional. As the owner of Main St. Media House, he serves clients from all aspects of their digital marketing strategy. With a practical approach to effectively reach customers, Main St. provides web design, campaign management, and content creation.

Josh takes a content-first approach to digital marketing with the understanding that brands are not built by some magical formula in an ad campaign but by best understanding the people on the other end. Using this strategy he has generated millions of dollars in sales both in e-commerce and physical location environments.

Jay Personius – Investor

Jay is an accomplished Systems and Software Engineer, Agile Coach, and Real Estate Investor with over 40 years of experience in both the Defense and Private sectors of business.  He has held a wide range of leadership positions as Software Team Lead, Systems Engineering Lead, Project Lead, Senior Engineering Manager, and President in companies ranging from startups to large defense contractors.  He has excelled in transforming teams, optimizing processes, and reducing costs through his engineering mindset, his initiative to find solutions, and a keen focus on efficiencies while balancing his energies in harmony with nurturing individuals to feel a part of the team while leading them towards excellence.  He is able to address the full spectrum of roles within an organization from mentoring new recruits to leading executives in company cultural transformations. His greatest joy is empowering and teaching others not only to succeed but to exceed him.
